Description
Six-year-old Oskar and his four-year-old sister Romy from the Tumbawunda Valley make a dreadful discovery in the spring: there is no humming or buzzing anywhere. Have the wild bees in the garden gone? And there’s more. There are far fewer birds in the garden, fewer rabbits in the field. What’s going on out there in the wild? It’s still on their minds when they go to bed that night. They can’t get the wild bees and animals out of their heads. Half asleep, fearing for bumblebees, squirrels, hedgehogs and the like, they recite the magic code. They call out the „Bee-Team“! Before you know it, Oskar and Romy are right in the middle of it all. Together with the ninjas from the „Fantastic Ten“ and the Pink Princess Gang, the „Bee-Team“ shakes the entire Tumbawunda Valley up. But will that be enough to save them all? In the end, not only the Tumbawunda Valley but the whole world will be turned upside down.
I read the book with my kids and they absolutely loved it. They loved the idea of magic and helping the bees. The book was a lot of fun to read but it was also a great eye opener for them to see what the world would be like without bees.
his eco-fairytale tells of an idyllic place, Tumbawunda Valley, a haven of wildlife, flora, and fauna, under the threat of human encroachment and destruction, all in the name of "progress" and greed. Politicians and farmers have plans to make as much money from the land as possible, never giving a thought about the plight of animals or caring to give something back. The atmosphere of the story is fun, and the writing moves at a reasonable pace. Characterization of the animals works well; the author depicts them through a child's eyes.
I definitely want it and first of all I really want to recommend this book to you! It is not only a real treasure for children. It's an adventure that contains so much truth that it sometimes really hurts. but how must the "little" insects be? This book shows that height doesn't tell you how important you are. Because the animals, living beings and insects in this book have the greatest job of all! namely LIFE! I can only give this fantastic team a full 5 stars and they really come from the heart!

Hello Sweeties
I would like to introduce you to this great book by Alexander Ruth! The first thing I noticed immediately is this beautiful cover! I really totally love it! Now you can of course say: „Another book like that about … * save nature and bees * … there is not enough of it“ I can say no to it very clearly! There are definitely not enough books! and certainly not like the one Alexander wrote. Because finally it is also fun to read something important. To learn something new and to tackle the great adventure together with the * Bee-Team *. I can only emphasize again and again: We only have one earth! We don’t have a plan B, as Jennifer Alice Jager says in her books! It remains open to everyone whether they want to do something for the nature and environment of our planet! I definitely want it and first of all I really want to recommend this book to you! It is not only a real treasure for children.
